    Transponder Fail

It's more likely you've experienced a wire break.

    Pitch Attitude unstable.

This can be due to rising or falling air in the atmosphere from localized heating. You can pretty much eliminate this as a factor if you take a test flight early in the morning before the sun has a chance to heat the ground and generate thermals in the atmosphere, or by flying very high...

DYNON MUST STOP BETA TESTING ON ITS CUSTOMERS

I see a lot of red flags in your story, most of which are coming from you (the user). I suspect you might benefit from a little more RTFM (Read The F'ing Manual) and a little less drama. Very happy Dynon customer here...

    My Own Traffic

This happened to me on Tuesday afternoon leaving Oshkosh, near Madison WI. I'm going to assume that it was due to FAA computer workload, but man it sure got my attention in that particular situation with all the local traffic. I'm running the latest software on Skyview with the Dynon...

    Sky view temperature Sensor?

I did the same, I used a small computer CPU fan that draws 300ma and just hung it on the avionics master bus.

    Fuel Gauge calibration

I am using capacitive senders in my inboard mains, and floats on the outboard aux tanks - both have a maximum level they will sense, and they will just display a + above that point. My inboards are 18 gallon capacity and they only show "16+" and my outboards are 16 gallons each, they display...

vertical GPS guidance to a waypoint

I think the liability aspect of this feature would be troublesome, in that some people would almost certainly use it to establish a pseudo-ILS approach to an airport or private strip that doesn't have one, and has not gone through the FAA procedure to approve that approach as "safe" with the...

    SV ADS-B traffic anomally?

That raises an additional question - can all ATC facilities see the tail number if it's broadcast by the airplane? Or only certain facilities?

    Low Speed Warning

Stall speed is based on the angle of attack on the wing, which is a function of both speed and load. A simple speed callout like you are requesting will not protect you from an accelerated stall. You would best be served with a genuine AOA sensor.

    update a new skyview-

Software updates to the Dynon screens have been about 5 minutes in my experience, but you do need to have all your Dynon components powered up and online to do it, you can't just run the screen alone on the backup battery.

    Time to Waypoint?

Maybe I'm missing it, but I've looked fairly well in the Skyview documentation (I thought) and have not found this - is there an info widget for the screen for time to destination or waypoint? I've got fuel at waypoint, but can't find the time to waypoint?

    Fuel Gauge calibration

Put a battery charger on it if you are concerned about running it down, it could take 30 minutes or better to do this calibration. Make sure the airplane is in level flight attitude when you do it, as Carl mentioned - that should be the main longerons of the fuselage level, and level side-to-side.

Quick! Document it, and call it a "feature"! 8-)

    BARO Button

For the purposes of altimeter setting, anything within the nearest 50 miles is going to be within the margin of error and will be acceptable, I just don't see this being a major issue, perhaps I'm wrong. If the pressure gradient is so steep in your local area that the error within 50 miles is...

Screen Freeze Using "Direct To" Command

Dynon - is this suspected bug limited to the RV-12 software? Or generic to the Skyview family?

    ADSB range

Dynon - that's not really the point of the question though. The problem is that the Dynon-equipped aircraft wasn't seeing ANY traffic, and that's a problem. Many people have asked many times for a dual-frequency receiver and Dynon has not made any comment or commitment to going forward with...

Problem with Van's RV10 and Dynon AP (Skyview)

There is a long history of RV10's with Dynon autopilots, and I don't see the problems with them that your friend is talking about. Perhaps he just doesn't like Dynon?

Gary, I changed course and went a different direction on this, thanks.

    Buy/Sell/Trade??

How about a subsection here on the support forums for folks to buy or sell or trade Dynon products they have or want? You certainly have a good number of early adopters looking to upgrade, and there are always new entrants to the market looking to pick up budget equipment. Myself, I'm looking...

    Fuel gauge calibration

Additional to that, the float is usually located at the wing root, and with wing dihedral the float may well be at the top of its movement range before the last pour begins, so it won't register any movement. This is particularly true on the RV series.
