Attached is the relevant diagram that helped me solve the issue. Turns out our issue was the 429 wire from the Garmin GPS to the AP was open (broken somewhere). Replaced - and all is well.

Have complete HDX system with A/P in my A36 - works great BUT trying to help friend with a Cardinal with an AeroCruz100 (TruTrack) Garmin 355 with his HDX. Cannot get A/P to display GPSS as it should. Trying to find the wiring diagram interfacing these 3 INCLUDING the toggle switch labeled...

Update ….. my A36 autopilot install has been complete now for a bit over a month. Install went smoothly with very few glitches along the way. Had a number of very short ‘breakfast runs’ up until this week. Now have about 9 hours of cross country flying with considerable weather, turbulence...

Did you look at the number of satellites in view when observing these accuracy numbers? Perhaps the iPad internal antenna vs the Stratus antenna vs the sky view antenna (sensitivity) makes the difference?

Not sure why all the bad words on the D10a ….. might not be sexy looking, but I’ve used one as a standby for YEARS and it has been completely reliable!

Hey Dynon …. No substantive update since August? We need some encouragement to stick with you!

The Dynon web site also says discontinued. Since the D10a is a required part of the certified Skyview STC, there must be a replacement coming.

I did the ground calibration - but have not been successful with the inflight part either. Quality stays at 0 (if I remember correctly) and ’finish’ was never highlighted. Heading indicator appears to work and is reasonably accurate inflight.

I bought one - installed on HDX screen - used setup as instructions directed - worked fine.

The above thoughts/requests have crossed my mind also - but given how great the rest of the system is, I am willing to adapt!

I really appreciate this reply … I’m one of the A36 guys waiting (impatiently) for the AP. My whole panel is in and functioning perfectly. You guys have such a good product, it‘s a shame the AP isn’t available because your sales would soar! Our often repeated questions are - Is your FAA region...
