Make sure you have done the setup of the compass correctly, entered the right declination etc, and done a compass swing calibration. When we isntalled an EDC on our old D10 it did strange things like that too until it was calibrated correctly. DB

Check your sensor connection, you may be off the wrong end of the Potentiometer. Sounds like the more you put in the voltage is dropping (inverse to what the other is. The sweeper is the analogue input and the supply is the "end" of the pot, so swap ends and see what happens. Just a wild guess! :D

Re: My jabiru I do not believe so. There is a series or fasteners with rubber grommets that hold the whole fibre glass console up, you could try refitting it with a twist the other way.

Check all your pins and connectors are set right on the HS34. Sounds like it is losing connection to the outside world! :o
