inclinometer off on the ground (static)

Check the floor of your hangar, we had the same issue with our last plane, the D10 always showed a bit of left down, we think it was the plane and its undercarriage plus the slight slope on the concrete. Was fine in the air when flown accurate. Most likely you have a similar problem!

    OAT Differences

Thanks Jake I have actually taken it out to the pitot area, should be fine there too! 8-) I do agree though with your spot it should work there OK

    EGT/CHT Harness lengths

Yep I do! And while I know you can not cater for every possible installation, as someone will always have a longer plane... :o I would have thought an RV-10 and IO-540 would be a typical install. I reckon around 8 feet will do it, and if you are interested I will report back when I have...

    EGT/CHT Harness lengths

Has anyone else found their harness to be a little short? I ordered the 6 cyl Lycoming harness and with a typical RV-10 Install the leads for one side will be too short. I will make longer leands and crimp them into new pins and all will be fine, but the added expense and me having to tamper...

    OAT Differences

Hey DS how is the inboard end of the wing or there abouts? not on the fuse but not out a mile. Any experience there?

    OAT Differences

ATIS is probably wrong! ;) It will be from a time different to your flight....and a couple of degrees is nothing in the big picture. 20 or 30 degrees is a different story!

    Another "dumb" remote compass question

If you are worried, align the mounting braket first, then fit the EDC? ;) DB :)

    D180 problems

ahhhwwwwww c'mon Dynon Support......we all know a handy man with a soldering iron can do anything!! ;) Just a few weeks ago we replaced some surface mount opto-isolators...... and probably better done than the factory who made the equipment :o hehehhehe ;)

    Auto QNH correction

Ahhhhh thats a tricky feature! So you say its selectable......... is it off by default or on? I will need to see this soon enough, but I refer to set it myself and never have it auto adjusting. Cheers DB :)

    Auto QNH correction

The last stored QNH is "stored". Its only ever lost if you do not beack out of the menus to exit and the power is turned off. From my observations anyway! DB :)

Well like all useful information...share it round, let us know how you go!

    Interference with Microair M760 radios

Where are you? The early D10's gave trouble with the hash in the background and was impossible to squelch out in some frequency ranges.......... but this is not your problem. If you are around Brisbane or can get here I can have a look at it for you. Its most likely a grounding issue. Dynon...

    Servo Arm Movement

Gotcha! ;) I did not think you would get that much movement in the screw! Mind you it all adds up! Cheers!

    RV-10 Pitch Servo

We have taken the generic kit and will make our own mounting frame. Should be flying mid year so as much as I would volunteer I think we will be too slow! Can't wait to make this all go!

    Servo Arm Movement

Goodmorning DS Yes I would agree entirely with the thread locking and not over torqueing the screw. That is all fine. Your second post is starting to address what I have observed. There may be an insignificant amount of movement however you Service bulletin states..... "If there is any...

    Servo Arm Movement

    Any thoughts?

    Servo Arm Movement

So maybe as a dumb Mechanical engineer........I missed something, but how on earth does the thread locking on a perfectly locked screw have any effect on the tolerances of the hole/screw head? Unless it pulls the screw head over a fraction and that tightens it up due to eccentricity. Cheers...

    Another keep alive question

If it gets its time from the GPS ditch the KA altogether, we had this debate a while back and that was the suggestion of DS. I have deleted it from my drawings for that reason.
