Well I am not surprised, and to be honest I expected nothing less, otherwise they would get shipped back to be corrected. Today I had my local Avionics LAME bench test prior to installing and testing in the plane this weekend, my D100 and D180. The results were 100% perfect from 50-200 knots...

OK some up to date results! The dynon EGT and CHT sensor leads are long enough that when you take the shortest path with the harness, they all reach. So a lucky escape but not leaving much spare length. Maybe an extra foot on the front cylinders would be enough just to give routing options...

The truth is they are waiting to launch the GPSS and the AP76 around the 20th of June this year......Just in time for the first flight of my RV-10 ;D ;) Aren't ya Dynon Support ;) DB 8-)

Do you use the Keep Alive power wire in your harness? I can not see how thats related but it has caused others some troubles and it seems there could be a bug, but whether its related to the KA wire who knows. DB :)

An extra 2 feet would do it no problem. Of course you could make the back cylinders shorter .....but that might just be asking for trouble. DB :)

I trust you Dynon........but this is now interesting, the Keep Alive wire again!! I am not using it but it is weird how that is having an effect, but strange things can happen! Any ideas? I am just curious more than anything. DB :)

Yep, and as the new owner of my D10 with plane attached found out the D10 survived but ASI failed easily! ::) And had been around planes for 25 years!

Concerns me that V 5 has had a few posts like this........is there some bugs you are working on? I would like to know. The last 730 hours of D10 were faultless. Now a twin Dynon system and IFR........I start to want to know for sure what is happening. DB

well you always size the cable for the task then the breaker for the cable. So if you have 22 gauge use a 5A breaker. The breaker is there to stop cable becoming a fuse and then a fire! DB

for a start you should never blow in your pitot, or doing it very very slowly. Otherwise you may break things. And yes the rapid response from blowing in there might be an acceleration faster than an F16 so the poor little computer in there things the world is just about to spin off its axis...

Its that pesty trouble maker from down under again! So when is the V5.1 going to be released? It was meant to be early 2009 and as far as I can tell its not out yet, and its now April. So I guess you could say early 2009 is Jan-Apr mid is May-Aug and end is Sep-Dec and its fair to assume then...

I will know more this weekend. We are putting the engine in this week and will be running cables and be able to measure it for you. Cheers!

Bit late now......... and as you know we are in Oz so its USD$60 in postage and thats about what the wire is worth...... easier to do it here. I would suggest....read as HIGHLY RECOMEND, you start ordering longer harnesses for the 6 cyl LYC/TCM harness kits. Like I said most folk will need it...
