    oops, spoke too soon!

Brantel I appreciate the reply (on both forums).  I have my Val configured as you say except that it is wired so that the Val Tx goes to the Dynon Rx.  I think you just mistyped.  I believe the Dynon only receives info from the Val and gives nothing back to the Val.  That's what I understand...

    oops, spoke too soon!

I have a Val Nav 2000 hooked straight into pin 22 on the D100.  It receives the VOR and the yellow pointer will point to the VOR.  I flew a LOC and ILS approach and they worked fine, except the green arrow was stuck pointing to 360 so I got reverse sensing (was flying the ILS 14 and LOC 14) but...

How do you move the CDI on D100 with no HS34?

OK, i'll go back out to the hangar tomorrow and look in the D100 for a course button. I did not see it today. I have a Val Nav 2000 hooked to the D100. I was parked inside a closed hangar, so maybe the D100 would not show a CDI needle (and the course button) because the nav radio couldn't...

D100 compatible with Val Nav 2000

Now that the Val Nav 2000 is available, does Dynon know if the Val Nav 2000 will drive the HSI on the Dynon D100?

Does D100 HSI need the KN-72 to drive the KN-53?

I have a Bendix/King KN53 receiver with glideslope. The description for the KN53 is as follows: "....The KN-53 may also be used with an HSI (King's KCS-55A System, for example) with a remote KN-72 VOR/LOC Converter" My question is: Does the D100 require the KN72 converter be used with the KN53...

Can the D100's HSI display 3 Nav sources?

Thanks for the response.  My main concern with my post is that I don't understand how many wires are available for Nav inputs between the D100 and the HS34.  To your question, I have the following things in my panel:  I have an SL-30 which will act as COM#1 and a Microair Radio as COM#2. ...

Can the D100's HSI display 3 Nav sources?

I have read the users manual, but I am still unclear.  I have a D100 with DSAB to D120, an HS 34.  I have one SL-30, Garmin 155XL and a Avmap Geopilot II Plus.  I have 3 questions: 1)with that arrangement of radios can I connect all 3 units to the HSI, and 2) in wiring the HSI, can I use the...

GPS-155XL work with Dynon D100 CDI?

Will the GPS-155XL drive the CDI in the Dynon D100? I just want to ask this question before dropping several thousand on a unit that will not talk to my Dynon stuff. Thanks.

Can I change the fuel calibration figures

I have calibrated my D120 fuel gauge. I would like to tweak the numbers a little bit for a more accurate reading. I cant find where it tells me how to change those numbers in the manual, nor can I find those numbers in the D120 system. Can I change the calibration figures, and if so, how do I...

    Voltage Display question on D100

yep, I looked at that prior to posting my question. Sorry I'm so dense, but I don't understand what the manual is telling me. From the manual, E says its the "optional external backup" voltage. I don't have backup external power supply wired into my D100, so I don't understand why my unit...

    Voltage Display question on D100

The voltage display on the D100 has an M, E, and I. I understand the M is for voltage at the Master switch, but I don't know what E and I are telling me. I do not have the keep alive wired in, but I do have the backup battery installed. I have no other optional backup power supplied to the...

    D100 Service issue?

As background: I used to get % power indications on my EMS prior to sending in my EFIS for service.  Never had any issues with it.  I haven't changed any data in my EMS.  All was working prior to removing the EFIS for service.    I went flying again today.  I checked the engine data in the EMS...
