Wiring guage and fuel sender conversion wiring

I have discovered I need to plan for 5 wires to run to the AP servos. Will 20 gauge suffice for all (run length should be about 15 feet)? As a separate question, I have a Vision Microsystems probe running the full length of my wing. I know it will require a converter to work with the Dynon...

    Templates

I am sure this is a very basic request to most. I am doing panel planning and would like to print a actual size depiction of all the Dynon devices. I did the D100, D120, D180 and Next Gen. I have not found printable pics to use as templates for the HS34, AP 74 and AP 76. They must be here...

Linear vs non linear voltage regulator

I am building a Glasair and it is about time to start the electrical system. I do not have an alternator yet. My question is about the power required by the Dynon as I plan to get a D180, D100 and HS34 (maybe AP76). I do have the B&C voltage regulator. They make a big deal out of the fact it is...

    Language lesson

I read the D180 installation and configuration manual this morning although I am still some distance in the project from ordering hardware. I thought the manual was well written and procedurally easy to follow (bearing in mind I have not done this yet). It seemed straightforward in the...

Converter available for VM1000 fuel probe!

There is good news with regards to the VM1000 fuel probes converters! I got a link to Princeton Electronics and talked with the owner (Todd Stehouwer) today. They make a converter specifically for the VM1000 probes which converts the output to the 0-5v which the Dynon needs. It is part number CP...

Compatability with VM1000 capacitive fuel probes

I bought an abandoned Glasair project which has capacitive fuel probes in both the wing and fuselage tanks. They are for the VM1000 system but I do not know if they output voltage. Do you know if these will work with your FD 180?
