Intermittent electrical issues will give you gray hair and cirrhosis of the liver.

Shielded or twisted wire for yaw and pitch servos and where to ground the servos

Vans may specify shielded for the autopilot servos, but I think thats just a generic "catch-all" for good clean signals to the device. You will notice, if you look, that there is no such thing as a servo with Vans logo on it - so Vans cannot really say what is, or is not, needed for any...

Low voltage hdx indicator any advice please random goes low but system is charging fine ok

Are you certain your actual battery voltage is not going down? If the alternator is not charging (which is indicated by the -3 amps displayed) then the battery voltage will decay, and the voltage indication may actually be correct. If you're absolutely sure the alternator and battery are both...

MAP and oil pressure failed, crossed out

Agreed. I don't like Plane Power alternators either - but this is not a guaranteed Plane Power problem.

    Map Info Setup HDX

I'm in the same condition - the pitot heat indicator on my screen shows only that the heat controller is active, or not. It does not show the pulsing behavior of the heater itself, only tells me if the heat controller is on or off. That's the only output that the heat controller has available...

Here is how I have mine, for reference.

I would do away with Next Waypoint - it's already shown in the PFD as your next point of nav.

MAP and oil pressure failed, crossed out

Have you ever seen those problems without the engine running? Try shutting off the alternator field after engine start, and see if that affects the problem. All those components, if mounted on the engine, are relying on a good ground from the engine back to the battery. If that ground is not...

CDI display during RNAV -> LOC/ILS transition

In that particular case, no it cannot. Skyview will display information from a single outside source, screen selectable. It can follow it's own VFR gps guidance, or follow any outside device that feeds CDI guidance, but only one source at a time. In your case of a G175 navigator (which is GPS...

Yep, I'm still waiting on the promised auto-trim module for the STC'd install in our 172 from FIVE YEARS ago.

question for Dynon about autopilots moving forward

Don Jones personally promised me in Spring 2020 that I would have the "autotrim" module for the Cessna 172 R autopilot before the end of the year, so we pulled the trigger on the STC install that happened in May 2020 for our 172 tail number 2451N performed by Jesse Saint at their certified...

CDI display during RNAV -> LOC/ILS transition

That data would not be coming from the Skyview, it is sourced from the certified IFR navigator that feeds the CDI data to Skyview.

    Seattle Avionics

Not the first time this has happened, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I am envisioning a computer server running in a closet of an abandoned flop house, maintained by a starving college student who occasionally goes on a weeklong bender and forgets he is supposed to have a job to do.

None of the above. To be clear, you must demonstrate it in my presence. :p

    Fuel Flow Low

I was going to reply something along the lines of RTFM - but Kevin Eldridge? Nahhh, I'll cut him some slack, I watched him bail out of a burning airplane at Phoenix. Respect.

    High Amps on Transmit

Contact Dynon with the serial number of your EMS, they may have a fix for that. The phone call is free.

So that's for the iPad crowd, I suppose.

    High Amps on Transmit

It's not likely that your system is suddenly pulling that much power and the amperage reading is accurate - unless your system voltage is also sagging significantly during transmit - that's easy to verify. Much more likely that you're getting some stray RF into the EMS box that senses the shunt...
