I was under the understanding that Europe has Mode S TIS. This should display traffic on the SV with the Dynon transponder or any mode S transponder. Not the case?

My NA Jepessen data expired but I just get a warning on the map screen that can be cleared just like the SV 30 hour trial mode? Press the MAP button and then the button to clear the warning. I have to clear both as I haven't purchased the SV-MAP-270 yet.

Re: GPS "issues" I haven't done a lot of experimenting but I was testing my AP and the NAV source wasn't available, just HDG and TRK. A little while later NAV was available. The GPS495 is my only NAV device other than the SV GPS. I'll pay attention next time I'm up to see when the NAV appears...

I'm not familiar with the Rotax but that sounds like a broken sender. With only 20 hours you should have some sort of warranty that will replace that.

I'd check for a loose wire. One of my EGT's was sporadic. I reseated all the connectors and it cleared up.

The SV audio isn't working yet. Page 4-15 of the install manual recommends not connecting the pins. I had a popping noise in my audio system until I disconnected the SV audio wires.

You can also do at home flight planning with the Skyview using any software that will output GPX files. One thing the Skyview flight planning has over other NAV sources is anticipated turns.

I had mine connected but was getting popping sounds through the audio. I think the recommendation is to not connect them yet. I snipped the connections off and the popping sounds went away.
