Me too. Aside from the fact that Dynon's ADS-B rx is  surprisingly nearly twice as expensive as the nominal ADS-B rx, the fact that it's single-band is a real concern, given a good deal of traffic will only comply OUT on 1090. This triggered my own re-analysis of what to do to take my VFR plane...

As a feature request.. The current combined CHT/EGT widget focuses on absolute EGT, which isn't really that important. Please re-work that widget so the graph primarily shows CHT, which is something to monitor in absolute values. If anything, simply switching places of EGT and CHT would go...

For sure, to each their own.. But I use and like the 20% option. No need for anything different as far as I'm concerned. I'd much rather have other features like altimeter-setting cross-check, flight path marker, live list of most likely frequencies, including center/apch, look-ahead terrain...

Hi. I'd like to add a battery temperature sensor, probably using a thermistor. But, I don't know what to spec. Is there a common, easy-to-match thermistor I can use then tell SkyView to use either carb or outside temp sensor profile? Trying to deal with cooold batteries - adding a battery...

This reminds me of a feature request... EMS display items: backup battery % remaining and status. Pleeeeeeeez :)

Rather than a 5% EMS, which I wouldn't use, how about access to the numbers as map data items.. probably just RPM,MAP,Max CHT,etc

Indeed.. It seems that as a VFR pilot, enroute I'd fly the HSI (Direct if I have to divert a distance) then HDG in B,C,etc. TRK I guess would be good for those without an active flight plan, adjusting for winds. OTOH, perhaps TRK is a lot more stable.. ;)

I get quite a lot of light off the D1000, and it would be nice to have the map a dark background.  Actually, I think just turning off the terrain (non-red,non-yellow) background on the map would suffice. Make it switch on an adjustable threshold of the dimmer value. Merry Christmas Bob

Display a list of numbered items?? MEH.. Maybe use it once to try it. Automatically recognize flight regimes and prompt audio reminders for a few items like landing gear? Now that's going to make a difference. :)

Maybe the INFO button only showed the Direct-To INFO because Direct-To was active. That didn't seem right, IMHO.

Please avoid unmaked operations. Otherwise pretty soon we have "double click for that" or "press and hold then spin the knob for this special feature.." In turbulence, pressing the joystick is tricky without panning. I like the auto popup of identifier for the map item and expected "INFO"...

The AOA measurement is via differential to pitot pressure. If tee'ed to pitot, there will be no pressure across the sensor.

The only clean place I could find in my Cozy was the strake end. Now I'm wondering if the seemingly erratic pitch indication at high cruise speeds is related to the 5 ft of lateral displacement.
