Here's some more info. I powered up only the EFIS with the map license and PFMS data and the Aera operating. The SL40 would respond to frequency pushes from either the Aera or SV. It would not, however group load into the SL40 memory. Switching the S40 to the Aera and I can get the group...

I can push single freq from either source.  To get the automatic group push to memory, I have to switch my SL40 input to the GPS and leave it there.  Kind of defeats the whole purpose of having map software in the SV if I have to depend the GPS for this.  The SV is somehow blocking the group...

Got the network error today for my ADAHRS. Checked my AXIS-9A wiring hub connects and found that one of the SkyView network cables had a faulty pin 1... Was not seated in the connector shell. Wow, it was sure nice for the software to detect the hardware error! Nice catch, Dynon. Narrowed it...

Oddly, i am in the process of fabricating a clipboard mount to the RAM mounting system. This will replace my kneeboard And my iPad mini with paper. The iPad is just not that great for the short haul flights.

Turns out that use .pdf files on my ipad for checkists. There are some other apps that attempt to automate this, but nothing is as good as a black on white printed list on the ipad that you can zoom to what you need. If the SkyView supported them, I would use them for start up and shut down.

Search the forums... Currently no plans to support checklists. I would like the EFIS fail checklist... Oh wait, that won't work....

I will email you the sn of the offending controller. The compliant one is relatively new and plugged right in. Just so you know, the offending controller plugged right into the old pitot,so something changed along the way. Vern
