The inflight setup screen only takes up half the screen, as opposed to when you are on the ground where it takes the whole screen. You will still see the PFD with airspeed, altitude, etc, on the left hand side of the screen, and the setup window on the right.

Looks like it is a standard resistance sender. Connect one of the senders leads to a good earth, the other one connect to the Dynon wire for that tank.

The certified Dynon installation uses the P-Leads at the ignition key switch, with some resistors. The sensor that screws into the magneto are usually part of a kit from JPI or Electronics International, approved under their STC's

I have installed Dynon servos in where a Trutrak was fitted. The Dynon servos bolted straight into the Trutrak brackets. The Dynon and Trutrak servos look pretty much identical. Bendix-King bought Trutrak, so I would think the servo brackets from a BK Aerocruze would fit the Dynon servos.

Just out of interest, have you tried modifying the automatic dimming via the setup pages? You should be able to set the minimum brightness there.

The dimensions are on page 15-25 of the install manual I'm sure you only need to use the dimmer panel with the SE, for a HDX you can make your own out of a suitable potentiometer of your choice.

You can put an external ident button in. Pin 20 of the SV-XPNDR to ground, through a normally open momentary switch.

The harness (SV-HARNESS-D37) is not included with any HDX screen I've bought. It's always been a separate item.

It might be the cause of your problem. You will get that message if SV sees that the external level button is stuck on during boot up. The fact that it is sometimes activating the AP points to an intermittent grounding of the wire that goes from the external level button to pin 28 of the SV DB37...

Do you have a separate level button still hooked up, as well as the one on the AP controller?

Exactly as Rhino said. I just did this for a customer on the last RV I installed SkyView in. The Dynon intercom has two com inputs. I used a DPDT switch to switch the MIC HI and PTT for the com selected, and two switches to select either or both audio inputs into the intercom.

I would have to think you have some water in one of the connectors as a possible cause. Since you have an EDC and OAT fault, I'd look at the EDC connector wherever you have that installed. Take the backshell off the connector and dry it out. There is also the possibility of the EDC having got...
