If you save a copy of the flight plan on the GTN, are you not able to retrieve it after the restart? This does not answer your question about copying it to the SV, but may be a way to quickly retrieve the original flight plan if it is saved in the GTN catalog.

The radio panel changes a little - very little - when I change the DIM function on the D1000T display. Dynon says maybe it's as good as it's going to get (I sent them photos) and they put their engineers on it.
