    Chart upgrade

I have flash drives in the plane now but wanted a couple more when I misplace them. Any recommendations on flash drive? Was thinking 32 gb, but was unsure of 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2...Im an idiot and dont know what the difference is and what may or may not be compatible

    An improvement!

Before and after in the PA32... Now if Dynon could get the pa32 on it's list of approvals the aerocruze 100 would come out. Still learning everything. Holy information overload batman. Ditching the iPads as soon as I feel comfortable with the Dynon.

    New Airmate aviation data

So, this came at an interesting time for me. I have yet to get the updated data since the Dynon upgrade. Still learning it. Was just about to get a Seattle avionics subscription but this came out and thought maybe they would be better. Generally not a fan of doing something like this with a...

    Chart upgrade

Looks like the chart itself is still going to be raster. I havent purchased anything from Seattle avionics, but their whole site layout just seems clunky and difficult to navigate for the uninitiated

    Chart upgrade

Currently vfr pilot with a new dynon setup that im still trying to figure out. I have foreflight that I'm used to. Installer says get the charts and throw the ipads in the back as the Dynon shows the info better. What say you?

    ADSB and NOTAMs?

Rehashing this, not sure if the most recent update has this or not. Still learning the system and all of the features, have only flown with it twice since its been installed. But on the way to the avionics shop on a long cross country, I had to divert due to weather. For whatever reason...

    Autopilot certification PA-24

Pretty sure Garmin uses the Wichita ACO Same one as Cessna. Wichita ACO is the GA hub. Seattle meanwhile has Boeing and the max fiasco that got priority and scrutiny to how they operated. ACO is for modifications

    Autopilot certification PA-24

Did I miss something on using a different fsdo? Government delays weren't entirely covid based. Have you ever been to the DMV?

An update on Dynon Certified projects

Unfortunately I think Dynon can't really say how they're doing because of the feedback, or lack thereof from the FAA. It's like running a race and not knowing where the finish line is and every time you think you know, it gets moved. Even Garmin has been complaining lately of how long it's...

An update on Dynon Certified projects

Apparently none of you have been following the GAMI unleaded fuel saga. They've proven their solution works. And mixing with any quantity doesn't degrade octane. All they need was a signature from AIR-1. What does the FAA do? Form another letter initiative in EAGLE to solve the problem PAFI...

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

https://www.avweb.com/aviation-news/lirio-liu-replaces-earl-lawrence-at-faa-certification/ Interesting they announced this while sun n fun was going on. A few days after George Braly railed against the FAA for dragging their feet on approving his expanded aml for g100ul. After the FAA announced...

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

Third! We're 74 serial numbers apart. The AC100 is going in December ( if they have stock then), but will have no reservations about pulling it out and putting a Dynon in if its got auto trim.

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

STC group just got the Comanche certified. Has TT/Bendix gotten any more approvals done since the MAX fiasco? Are locations really going to be that much different than other legacy systems? Why do we have to start from scratch and prove the whole system rather than just prove the install...

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

Brand G...not in my planes! I hate the my AP gets referred to a g dealer. And I hate how every g dealer trashes any other brand. Besides, only having one option is never good. I like supporting the smaller guys and not a faceless corporation that sues or buys out the competition when they can't...

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

We flew to Daytona from Illinois for the 500. Already had a quote with your guy Jesse Saint who had also come recommended by my instructor, who also lives in Florida in the winter after I already got a quote from Jesse. Jesse thought the 7" hdx for a dedicated engine monitor would have been a...

Dynon Certified December 2021 Program Update

Well, just put a deposit down and on the schedule for a December install of 2-10" hdx displays and ifd with aerocruze a/p on the Cherokee Six. Was going to put a 7" hdx in the center just for engine monitoring but installer thought that would be a waste. Would put a Dynon AP in of it were...

The fact that there's nothing on the experimental side to replace it leads me to believe an update is a ways off.
