    G*rmin Interface

I have an HDX and GPS175 and the combination works just fine, as specified in the documentation for both units. No issues.

    MPG Widget

Actually, if you're trying to figure out engine performance, TAS/GPH is a far more useful determinant, as it's not affected by wind - it's JUST a function of the aircraft's performance.

    Garmin GPS 175 Installation

I have a dual HDX system with a G5 backup and a GPS 175. The G5 is fed from a serial port from the 175, while the ARINC goes to the HDXs. I don't remember what my configuration setup is, but it works fine - data goes to both, and the G5 can act as the HSI from the 175 if you want.

Autopilot Rolls Into Turns Like A Fighter Pilot

Which was why I told them to adjust the sensitivity as well as the gain. There's no reason that it should be acting as if it's in a dogfight. Roll rate being too fast will not be fixed by changing maximum bank angle - it'll just roll too quickly to a lower angle. Doesn't fix the problem.

Autopilot Rolls Into Turns Like A Fighter Pilot

Bank angle for standard rate turns is dependent upon TAS - it's not a single angle. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_rate_turn

Autopilot Rolls Into Turns Like A Fighter Pilot

I would lower the ROLL SENSITIVITY, not the ROLL GAIN.

Problem with Adding a cabin temp sensor.

Without wading through your version of War and Peace, let's move on. Chapter 7 of the Skyview Installation manual, under "General Purpose Temperature Sensor" indicates that an OAT sensor can be used for any temperature sensor, and shows what pins it can be attached to - basically, ANY General...

Problem with Adding a cabin temp sensor.

Well, the Dynon OAT probe is not a thermocouple at all, either "J" or "K". It's a thermistor. So if you set it up as a thermocouple, it won't work.

    shock cooling

I won't comment on whether Lycoming understands the engines that they build particularly well, or science, but here are three references wrt shock cooling: https://www.rapp.org/archives/2012/02/aviation-myths-part-2/ https://www.avweb.com/ownership/shock-cooling-myth-or-reality/...

    shock cooling

The fact that you have the "shock cooling" turned on at all. If you don't have a turbocharger, there's no such thing as "Shock cooling a NA engine", so turn off that alarm and the alarms will stop.

remote NAV radio for SkyView HDX

Ken - you realize that the AIM and handbooks are (while very good advice) NOT regulatory, right? If it's not in a FAR, it's not a rule, it's a recommendation. I certainly agree that it's a good idea to know whether or not the VOR you've tuned in is the one you THINK it is, but there is (to my...

remote NAV radio for SkyView HDX

Can you point me to the FAR that requires this, please? I do not recall this from my training. Thanks.

SV-AP-PANEL Trim With 7-amp Brushed DC Motor

Yes: https://www.tcwtech.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/725.0025-Install-Instr-1.3-ST-1-1224V-10A-BSTR.pdf?v=7516fd43adaa This will take the input from the Dynon (or Garmin) trim output and boost up to 10A. No need to design your own, unless you want to.

    Erratic EMS voltage sensor

All makes sense, and it sounds like you're on the right track. B&C is always great for support.

    Erratic EMS voltage sensor

Charlie - I'd suspect the B&C regulator first - have you troubleshot that? And adjusted it correctly? They don't fail often, but they can fail.

Do I need an audio panel?

If you are only going to have one radio and one NAV, then no - you don't need an audio panel. You can get one of these: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/flightdataAP60audiomixer.php Simple and cheap.

    Choosing an IFR GPS navigator

Not in the manual, AFAICT. Here are the relevant parameters from the USER_CONFIG file (version 15.4.7 - don't know if version 16 is different): adahrs_xchk_enabled=1 adahrs_xchk_attrecvr_settle_time=128 adahrs_xchk_iasalive_thres=30 adahrs_xchk_iasalive_settle_time=128...

    Choosing an IFR GPS navigator

Kind of OT here, but I have such a setup - dual HDX, dual ADAHRS, and a G5. The statement "The system will flag you if the two ADAHRS disagree" is sort of true - there is a threshold above which they must disagree before it will throw an error message and flag you. I didn't realize this, and...

Roll servo- dead or something else?

Sounds like you broke the shear screw in the servo, due to high roll forces. I'd check your roll trim to see if you were way out of trim, causing high servo forces and eventual breakage of the shear screw. While the servo (with a broken screw) wasn't strong enough to move the control surfaces...
