    CHT cooldown alarm

SkyView does not. We had this in the Gen 1 products (D10 / D120 / D180) and it appeared to be rarely used. Lots of people don't even believe shock cooling exists: https://www.avweb.com/news/maint/182883-1.html...

I need rotor RPM added to my display

I'm confused. Did you load the DFG from that other thread? What kind of engine are you running? Can you send a screen shot or picture of the screen? I'm not aware of any place the system can say "Rotax - Fixed" so I'm not sure we're discussing the same thing. Finally, is this by any chance a...

    VNAV to runway

We have identified that the autopilot doesn't fly the internal LNAV to a runway with as much accuracy as we'd like, so there is a "bug" there. What we found is that it doesn't simply sit off to the side, but it is "lazy" when within 50 feet of the centerline and doesn't correct the error...

"%" power is not displayed EMS D120

The display will show dashes on the ground. Are you seeing this in flight, or just while installing the system? To have % power, we need: MAP RPM OAT FUEL FLOW OIL PRESSURE ALTITUDE (From D100 or GPS) Do you have all of these in the system?

I need rotor RPM added to my display

To support two independent RPM inputs requires a change that can only be done via the config file, not the user interface. Check this thread out, which has more information. You need to change the RPM_POLICY to single: http://dynonavionics.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1355638748

    Replacement For CS-02

Are you running two amps measurements? The pins on the EMS for the Dynon amps shunt can only be used for the amps shunt so the only way to be out of pins is to have already used one in the system.

    Overvoltage warning.

Does the VP100 need to be configured with overvoltage thresholds? At a quick glance, overvoltage wasn't always in the VP100 software so also check you have up to date firmware.

External Dimmer Pin 25 and 26

SkyView cannot use a PWM input to dim the screen. It must be a DC voltage. I don't know what the Garmin GTN or SL-15 expect. You cannot use a 10 ohm potentiometer across your aircraft bus as we mentioned last week. You can use a 1K Ohm or greater potentiometer to create this voltage. As the...

New Dual Band ADS-B for SkyView / AF-5000 Systems

When you install the 472, the transponder automatically starts sending out that you have a dual band instead of a single band receiver. That's how the "FAA knows". However, the FAA flat out doesn't care if you have ADS-B IN on board in terms of the 2020 compliance report, nor do they know or...

    Charging power for iPad

The SkyView USB port is a standard port like you'd find on a PC. This means the iPad will only charge at 500mA, which I believe doesn't even count as "charging" to Apple, even though some power is being transferred. An additional concern with SkyView is that the USB ports are powered by the...

    LOP Temp shown as Celsius

That display is showing that you are 10 degrees F LOP. We don't know of any issues with this function, and it does not change to C. It's pretty easy to see that it's working as expected. 1) Go ROP 2) Engage the leaning mode 3) Lean slowly, and record the peak temperature manually 4) Lean until...

    SV-XPNDR-262 White Wire? Ident?

The wire colors are only relevant if the builder used Dynon's harness, which we have been selling for about a year. Are you sure the wiring you have came from our pre-built harness?

External Dimmer Pin 25 and 26

As a side note, you can't hook a 10 ohm pot across the aircraft power. This will draw 1.4 amps, 20watts, and will possibly catch on fire.

RX and TX wires on the SV-ADSB-472?

TX goes to RX. You transmit from one and receive on the other.

    SV-BAT-320 safety

The confusion was that I interpreted your question as if each cell inside had it's own internal protection circuit built in (the ones with the internal circuit board). The cells are not these types. The battery pack has a cell balancing and protection circuit. It monitors each cell voltage...

External Dimmer Pin 25 and 26

You are asking us to design a lot. Page 4-33 says this. What is unclear?

    SV-BAT-320 safety

The battery itself has a single internal protection circuit which monitors each cell and disables the battery as a whole if needed. This is the standard way LiIon batteries are protected. I'm not aware of systems that protect with completely independent circuits per cell. The built in protection...

    Shunt and ammeter?

The use of an ammeter is up to you. Dynon's engine monitoring systems have amps monitoring because it's traditional and expected in aircraft monitoring systems, not because we have a strong defense for their use. With modern, high accuracy voltmeters, I don't personally see the advantage given...

Did you select the right oil temp sender in the sensor pin mapping? The default sensor configuration won't work.
