    Skyview and EMS

Yep those would work and not the $80 ea. that I saw in my A/C Spruce catalog. Guess I need to get a new one. Need to place an order for some prop bolts anyway. Thanks, MG

    assembling D-sub connectors

If you don't want to use solder sleeves, cut all the shields close to the striped end of the cable. Solder a short piece of wire to the shield and daisy chain them together leaving one to go inside to the connector. Remember to shrink tube the cables. Fold the shield and wire back from the cable...

    Skyview and EMS

Thanks for the info. Went to that site but their catalog does not list the CHT rings for the real spark plugs used in real aircraft motors i.e. 18 mm. Not to mention the additional $140 ($35 each) and I still would have the bayonet sensors left over. Just a bummer. :-/

Sorry but I have not gotten to fly the system as of yet because I am waiting for a very very slow upholestry guy to finish the interior.

    Why I bought Skyview

Why I bought my skyview over just an PFD, after reading all the lit, was because it had a nice dedicated WAAS GPS. I did not find the little paragraph about needing another $500 to $1000 GPS and associated antenna and panel space to drive the HSI display. Seems a little redundant not to mention...

    SV-D700 System Cable

The D37 system cable shows four contact inputs. Maybe just me but I could find no referance to these contact in install manual except under the EMS section, which would seem to be different wires. Are these useable for say "gear down", "gear up", etc. and if so how do you set up the info on the...
