I've noticed that VOR compass rose rings disappeared from the Dynon map. I'm running the latest firmware on HDX. Anybody experiencing similar problem?
Is there a menu setting that I could use to get the rings back?
from time to time my knob panel doesn't wake up, similar message on the screen
I would re cycle the master switch and re boot the HDXs, that solves the problem
Thank you @Dynon for the improvements in AOA indicator introduced in 16.6.0
Please keep up the good work and bring the AOA functionality up to the "on the speed" standard
Thanks for all comments. My battery doesn't have a BMS. I'm very aware of pros and cons, as well as operational limitations. There are two corner conditions that I want to monitor: low tem and high temp. Meaning respectively 40 and 170 deg. I'm OK with attaching the sensor to battery case.
I'm in the process of transitioning to a lithium battery and I though it would be a good idea to monitor the battery temperature. Q: is there a sensor that I could purchase and connect to one of available general inputs in EMS?
As much a I love the auto dimming function of HDX it dives me crazy every time I turn on any red lighting in the cockpit. The screen goes immediately to full brightness. Is there any way to immune the ambient light sensor from red light? Or is there any way to connect an external sensor so that...
While I agree with everything you said I believe that Dynon can't stand still, because the competition keeps on adding new features to their products. Dynon need to innovate and stay ahead to survive.
I stand corrected,
having said that, I believe it would be more or less trivial for Dynon to implement the "fly on speed" version of AOA indicator, as I understand it was adopted by Advanced
