    Clicking Noise Coming From Transponder

Thanks Vern I appreciate your input. Regarding my other issue, called a Dynon tech support. He was stumped as well for a while and then after we did some troubleshooting he remembered a possible fix and then he was able to walk me through an internal squelch setting that is in one of the...

Continuous Squelch Noise With SV-1000 Display On

Called a Dynon tech support. He was stumped as well for a while and then after we did some troubleshooting he remembered a possible fix and then he was able to walk me through an internal squelch setting that is in one of the setup pages. I think it has solved the problem but I will wait on...

    Clicking Noise Coming From Transponder

I have an annoying clicking sound that is coming from the transponder. The clicking noise is a random series of clicks almost like somebody King the mic but a little bit quieter than that. I have pulled all the circuit breakers in the airplane except for the circuit breakers that power the...

Continuous Squelch Noise With SV-1000 Display On

    >Turn off your shop lights and test again. Ask me how I know I know as well...Ask me how I know... Yes all of the shop lights were turned off...AFTER...I discovered the first humming sound in the radios. I have concluded that it is indeed the left side Dynon screen. I also determined that...

Continuous Squelch Noise With SV-1000 Display On

I am getting a continuous squelch type noise when I have the dynon screens receiving ships power. The Avionics system is two Skyview sv1000 displays, a dynon radio, a Garmin gtn - 650, and an sl15 audio panel. The squelch noise is continuous regardless if the engine is running or not so I...

Legacy Fuel and Oil Pressure Indications Way Off

I did a retrofit by adding a second screen and a complete rewire of my airplane. The location and plumbing of the Legacy Fuel and oil pressure senders are the same as they were before I did the retrofit. The previous system had one Dynon Skyview screenand now I have two.. After my engine start...

    Colored vertical stripes

That is what I call the "Rainbow Screen Of Death" (RSOD). I had a BRAND NEW SV-1000 that I bought and energized and it fired up and displayed a total of THREE TIMES and it did exactly that...RSOD... Multiple power offs/ons did not do anything so I called Dynon and they replaced...

KRW5927, This is really helpful to my "chair flying" exercise and understanding of the integration of the GTN and the SV. THANKS for your time!!!

Tech Edge "MODA" Fuel Level Probe

Has anyone used a MODA tank sensor kit from tankedge.com ? https://tankedge.com/accessories.html It is a sensor that attaches to the outside of a fiberglass tank with dual parallel strips of aluminum and copper tape. Somehow it measures the resistance between the two strips and determines...

GTN-650 and SV Interaction With Go Around Button

Any GTN-650 and SV drivers out there who can help me understand the integrtion??? My airplane is close to flying and I am reading the SV and GTN-650 Pilot User Guide and "chair flying" the integrated system and trying to figure out what this magic will do. Firstly, It seems that the NOSE UP...

    That Was Easy!!!

Oh...Last week I tested the integrity of the static system by tapped into the alternate static line. My system has a switch that has two NPT ports, one for the normal system and the other for the alternate system and I used NPT threaded fittings with a barbed end to connect the flexible tubes...

    That Was Easy!!!

Static certification guy just left...started at 0830 and got done at 0920. He connected up his gear and did the usual FAR 91.411 and 91.413 tests and the SV performed flawlessly. Less than 50 indication error from -1000 to FL220 and only 100 foot error at FL300. Nice equipment Dynon...thanks!!!

    AOA reset?

    >I believe on the canard types the forward canard will actually stall first and drop the nose so the main wing does not stall, correct? Yes...the canard airplanes are considered to be "stall proof". When the canard stalls it just drops very slightly and then starts flying again while the main...

What Is The Best iPad App For SV and GTN

Good information > If you have the equipment, both apps display ADS-B traffic and weather returns about the same. Does SV zap traffic and weather to the iPad or are you also running some other WIFI pp like DUAL or Bad Elf?

    How To Limit Layout Options

What Is The Best iPad App For SV and GTN

I am getting close to flying with my new dual SV-1000 and GTN-650. I also have an iPad. We talked about this subject about a year ago and a year is like 7 dog year in technology so I was wondering what iPad app I should get. I have used Foreflight with the WIFI connection to the Skyview when...

    How To Limit Layout Options

Jakej and Galin, Very cleaver...great idea!!! If Dynon had a the capability to have the EMS page displayed as a 40 % of the screen that would be ideal (hint for new feature). I find that the 50 percent page provides way too much space for my needs however since I want the EGT row to be near...

    HITS and GTN-650

Thanks (as always) Dynon for the quick and informative response. I really look forward to the evolution of the HITS to show the vertical guidance...really cutting edge...because up until HITS, a pilot can program "the box" and see on the screen fixes and altitudes for the enroute, approach, and...
