    D10 malfunction

How should the EMS-D10 be wired for resistance fuel level? I have the center tap connected to pin 20 and gage base grounded. But no voltage connection, neither 5V nor 12/14V. (Normally I put 12V to one pin of the panel meter, other pin of the meter to the tank resistor center tap with...

    D10 malfunction

My EMS D10 exhibits several anomolies. 1]The resistance fuel level gages will not accept a calibration. 2] The manifold pressure reads a max resulting in no % power reading (I do have OAT installed). 3] The tach reading off the Pmag becomes unstable intermitently. I would like to send the D10...

    EMS D10 problems

My EMS D10 has several problems that beg correction.  The application is an O-235 Lyc in an experimental Cub. 1] The resistance fuel gages will not accept the incremental fill calibration.  I checked the resistance prior to the installation and the pots yielded good linear resistance...

    EMS D10 fuel level cal

I'm having difficulty calibrating my restance fuel tank level. Wired tank sender to pin 20 (orange brown wire) for left tank (capacity 24 gal), filled in 2 gal increments, got ocassional messages that the sender value did not change, punched full as directed. I'm now installing a dedicated...

    Ameter shunt w/ EMS D10

I purchased a Dynon 0-60 amp shunt, p/n 100412-000, for use with my EMS D10. The EMS shows discharge current values approx 3X higher than I expected. I am using -60 to +60, type 1. My Fluke 21 reads a .4 ohms across the shunt. Is this the correct shunt? many thanks Murray Randall

    EMS D10 OAT

I purchased an OAT from Spruce: a 10-01176 (two wire) for my EMS D10. It was not shipped with a 1K ohm resistor but I tried wiring per 3-3 with a 1K resistor which resulted in totally erroneous temps. The install manual does not provide guidance for two wire probes which do not require 5 vdc...

    EMS D10 Altitude Data

Can I connect my EFIS D10 to my EMS D10 for the % HP altitude reqts I am presently connecting the G396 BLUE wire to a TruTrack A/P Can I feed the G396 blue wire to both the EMS and the TruTrack? Many thanks Murray

    Carb air temp

I would like to feed carb temp from a Westerberg 399W (two black wires) to my EMS. Is it correct to feed the +5 volts to the sensor and connect the second sensor wire to the purple/blue harness lead? How should the 399W be wired? Many thanks Murray
