External LEVEL vs AP panel LEVEL button?

Mark, your assumption is correct. No need to wire the AP panel to D37 pins, the level button on the AP panel works through the skyview network.

    Slingshot not connecting

Fair enough on the 175 comparison being apples to oranges as it does not include charts which is the large data usage. IFD updates however include full Nav/obstacle & charts if you subscribe to them as I currently do. Below are Avidyne's quoted numbers which are consistent with what I see...

    Slingshot not connecting

An hour to update! As a comparison Garmin 175 takes a few minutes, Avidyne IFD540 takes 5 minutes or so. An hour with plane on ground power - rather just do the USB's at home on the computer thanks.

    Slingshot not connecting

Sounds like Seattle Avionics Slingshot is just as robust and reliable as their Data Manager.

    12V On/Off Inputs

Is this documented in the manuals or sample wiring diagrams? I haven't seen this before and it seems like kind of an important change in recommended wiring!

    Supply chain impacts - Avidyne

Any update on certified shipments? Is there anything we can do to help as customers? Call or mail representatives or FAA?

    EGT probe interference

Hi Bud, no adverse affects in about 400 Hrs. If I recall I think I bent several almost 90 degrees.

    EGT probe interference

I don't know if it officially sanctioned or not, but I bent mine (also on an RV-4).

    Supply chain impacts - Avidyne

Thanks, appreciate the update and information. Is there any way to separate the HDX from the B36 approval? Not getting AP approved is disappointing in the time it takes, but having customers planes down waiting on displays so they are grounded is a more serious issue.

    Supply chain impacts - Avidyne

Thanks Dynon, do you have any update on when you might be able to ship certified HDX units? It would be nice to have a forecast for these backordered (critical) items.

    Supply chain impacts - Avidyne

From Avidyne forums below. It would be good to hear from Dynon as to any supply chain impacts they are seeing. Valued Customers: Like all manufacturers of electronic products, Avidyne has been subjected to unprecedented supply chain challenges in recent months. Despite our best efforts to...

    Northwest Avionics wiring control module

Hi, Marc (NW Avionics) is out of country but will be back Monday and I expect he will return your call then. I've looked at this and have a reasonable understanding of what it does - feel free to PM me to set up a call to discuss if you like.

    Repackaging SV Panels

Yes please. In particular the COM radio in a standard 6.25" wide formfactor would look much nicer in many installations.

An update on Dynon Certified projects

Guess that is a no... It would be helpful to have an update and reset expectations.

    Seattle Avionics price increase

This is probably old news - just noticed the subscription price increase from $99/annually to $119. Still a good value for the data, but my gosh the chartdata manager is a horrible, buggy, slow and pathetic piece of SW. Yes, I know if you buy the FlyQ app you can do wireless updates...

SA Data Manager screwed up AGAIN

Agreed ^^^. SA data manager is such a piece of work that there is no way I want to use FlyIQ developed by the same guys. Thanks but no thanks.....

    Mooney M20K

Just finished this install on an M20K. Turned out really nice, powder coated panel, laser etched lettering. Dual Dynon HDX, Xpdr & ADSB in/out, GNC255 NAV/COM , GNC355 IFR GPS/COM, PMA450B audio panel, full Dynon engine monitoring. Also installed a Surefly ignition, powder coated the yokes...
