Has this been implemented yet? Also the airport plates are not the highest quality and zooming in loses detail (taxiways can be unreadable) is there a way to increase this or is it down to EasyVFR (in my case) to up the quality of the plates supplied?

Thanks for your replies! I'll look into this. Would be handy if Dynon had a few preset options to choose from (SkyDemon does) rather than having to edit my own but that's certainly better than nothing.

What you see here is with everything off that can be, it's more the colour choices and the way airspace and airports are shown, just hard to read.

Is there a way to declutter the map and perhaps change it's colour theme? It's so messy it's hard to see what's going on even on the 10" HDX! I'd also prefer to have airports shown as "Earls Colne" rather than "EGSR" for example, is this possible? Attached are two examples in the same location...

My issue is not WiFi drop off, that stays rock solid at maximum strength (as you would expect with the two devices barely 12" apart) it's the communication from Skyview. BT devices and even other WiFi devices are absolutely not problem, it's 2024 and the number of devices found in close...

I actually wondered if this could be the case, I'm in the SE of the UK and it's only just Autumn here so I don't think thats what is, been the same for every flight since having my aircraft back on the 9th September and we've seen very varied weather over that period.

Yes we know, my installer thought it was more than far enough away from sources of heat and in fairness if asked I would probably have concurred... But it obviously isn't, we're moving it to one of the wings so that should be fine..

Ah this makes sense, I didn't think of prop wash, it's literally a hair dryer blowing hot air back towards the sensor isn't it... My installer obviously didn't think of it either. Thanks chaps!

My OAT reads spot on at ground level, matching what my car is showing and a standalone thermometer, it correctly shows a higher temp when I grasp the sensor with my hand and a lower temp if I cool it with a cup of cold water... But, once I take off and level out at say 2000agl it shows a HIGHER...

I thought this but it isn't the WiFi that drops out, my phone has a solid connection, it's Skyview that stops communicating with (in my case) SkyDemon showing the message "Waiting for Skyview" which makes this problem even more frustrating as just replacing the WiFi dongle would be quick, easy...

I don't know about a refund but fixing the problem would be nice, it really can't be that hard... WiFi isn't new! lol I get a connection maybe one in every ten attempts and then loses it almost immediately, I've given up using it.

Brand new install and I'm having this exact issue trying to use my Android phone, 9 out of 10 times it will not connect and when it does it loses it almost immediately, surely there must be an easy fix for this, it's 2024 and for the money it cost a simple WiFi hotspot should not be difficult...
