    EGT Probes burned through

Have had a similar issue on the same engine XP-360, the probes don't seem to be very good. Temps have never left the green arc, so there's certainly no reason why these should be falling apart so easily. I've also found many others have the same issues with dynon probes across a number of...

    EGT/CHT Troubles

I had fluctuating temps until I removed all the consumer grade crimps and replaced them with proper aviation standard Environmental Crimps: M81824/1-1 M81824/1-2 M81824/1-3 - use the proper crimp tool AD-1377. Expensive but they work, and you kinda want that on a plane. I wouldn't use any...

    EGT Sensors 100405-000 and 100405-001

    EGT Sensors 100405-000 and 100405-001

Is there a difference between the two sensors? Visually the difference appears to be a larger hose clamp on 100405-000 and a smaller hose clamp on 100405-001. Are the sensors themselves identical? Or will a 100405-000 not actually work in a Rotax and visa versa.

    Rotax CHT setup

We have a 2011 PiperSport with the 912 ULS and it came from the factory with the LH side CHT sensor wires disconnected. They are nicely tucked away and secured to the engine. But just aren't connected.
