Ive checked the connector that plugs into the EMS module, all good.There are no bent pins or misalignment when it is plugged in. Ive also checked the continuity of both shunt wires, I buzzed them from the plug end back to where they connect to the shunt, all good. When I short the 2 wires out...

Yes, still reads 50amps

My new Skyview reads 50 amps continously, even after I disconnected both wires off the shunt, even when the engine is not running or running. Any thoughts ?

There is also a message on the main screen saying "BATTERY TEST NEEDED" This is the issue, I'd like to test the battery, but can't. As the screen still won't go into the 30 second shutdown period when I power it down.

I've powered up my 10" Skyview for the first time, when I power down it just shuts down, no 30 second delay. This leads to the EFIS stating that the shutdown was abnormal. Is there a setting required to enable the backup battery ?
