It is acceptable to crimp more than one wire in a ring terminal and quite common, especially when daisy chaining power to each CB. Each device should have its own breaker, of course, unless non-essential, like a charger outlet.

If cost is the issue, install an inline fuse. Sharing a breaker is not a good idea.

Any rate of charge must be higher than the voltage of the battery that is being charged. The EFIS logic will not allow the backup battery to charge a a lower rate than documented (unless they changed that logic recently)

I did. My response is about the voltage a normal charging system should produce, not the minimum a backup battery needs.

Mine works fine 99% of the time. There are occasions I have to restart FF to get the connection to be seen so I can transfer my flight plan. I blame that on FF, not Dynon. Are you sure it is not a problem with your phone or iPad? Any BT devices in use that may be interfering? (both use 2.4 GHz)

Yes, many have used non-Dynon WiFi dongles with success. Also, Dynon does not insist you purchase theirs. I'm sure they like it if you do. Compare this functionality to Garmin's at >$1000 for the same functionality.

Depending on your tanks size, the calibration will ask for you to tell it when you have added x number of gallons/liters. Just tell it you added that amount (mine was 2 gallon increments) and fill from there. It'll likely be close enough.

I just had my VFR check done and only had to set the transponder to NONE vs Airspeed. If doing an IFR check, you'll need to put the transponder into test mode so they can simulate altitudes with the test equipment.

Just a guess but try checking the IP address associated with each dongle and make sure there is not a duplicate.

You don't have to purchase the Dynon Wi-Fi dongle. There are threads with others using a dongle from Amazon.
