Thanks, All. The problem was not with the Dynon installation, but with the connection of all audio outputs (radio/NAV/Dynon) to the intercom system (guessing impedance mismatch). Switched the radio outputs to "high" and all is well; BTW, I've named her "Roxane" :) Thanks again. C

Can I update the D-180 firmware on the bench if I build a harness with a connector that only has the serial connections and power to the unit? Same for the HS-34? Thanks C
