Hello,

I live in France and would like to know if the SV ADS-B 472 will allow to see the traffics on my skyview system in Europe ?

Thank you

No it will not. The SV-ADSB-472 receives the information via 978Mhz which is only available in the US.

Actually the 472 works in the other ‘world’ including France etc as they use 1090 MHz like we do, the US is the odd man out here ;D. My 472, using 1090 only, works here in OZ ;)

Hum, it seems opinions are divided...
Perhaps Dynon can give the definitive answer ?

Not really ;) not divided, just mistaken & I think GalinHdz was accidentally confusing the 470 & 472. The 470 is 978 MHz only & the 472 is both 978 & 1090 frequencies. From the Dynon site http://dynonavionics.com/
I have a 472 & it works here & like Europe we only have 1090 MHz. :)

OK. So can you tell me what kinds of traffics will be display on my skyview ? I think only the aircraft with ADS-B out ? But in France there are very few aircrafts of this type...

Correct. You will see traffic from other aircraft with ADS-B out on 1090 MHz.

You are correct, I read -470 not -472. You will see 1090 traffic being transmitted.
