AoA data interpretation

I have a piece of software I wrote that visualizes the data log from HDX. For the most part, they mimic primitive EFIS symbology and shows the flight data indication relative to aircraft limits. Since the limits are known, they pretty well match what I see on HDX during flight. I would like to add AoA indication as well. As I read the manual, the data is a percentage of critical AoA between 00 to 99. What I would like to find out is how they translate to the behavior on the screen. As in ranges of values that will show number of colored chevrons , yellow, and red indications.
I suppose I can fly with GoPro pointed to the screen and compare the video against the data capture post flight but I am hoping this is something that is already known or can be shared rather than reverse-engineering it.

You should be able to download the data after a flight, load it to the Savvy analysis site (free) and work out the data from there.

Not sure what you mean there. I have the data format spec and have the software to show all the data. What I am trying to figure out is how the value in the file drives the AoA symbology on the IDU. You can see the example below. What I would like to do is to add the AOA on the attitude box, similar to how HDX does it.
