D10A discontinued?

You assemble the D10A onto the flush mount first.
You see the outer groups of 3 holes? they are to install nut plates / anchor nuts into, and you attach the flush mount to the panel with screws from the front of the panel. Yes, you have to physically hold the unit up to the back of the panel while you screw / unscrew, and remove it out the rear like any other rear mounted instrument, but you never have to access the screws on the rear of the D10A.
I've done a few certified installs. Here's a picture showing the screws on the front of the panel.
The picture shows a Dynon autopilot (at least the panel) installed in what appears to be a 210. Was this a one-off?

Not sure why all the bad words on the D10a ….. might not be sexy looking, but I’ve used one as a standby for YEARS and it has been completely reliable!

I didn't see any bad words other than how it mounts to the panel, which obviously has nothing to do with reliability. Are you referring to something in another thread?

The fact that there's nothing on the experimental side to replace it leads me to believe an update is a ways off.
