When I rebuilt my panel I replaced the 8" display with a 10" touch and bought a new back-up battery. I still have the smaller display and the battery. Is there a "slave" harness made so I can install the smaller unit on the co-pilots side without actually having to wire the second unit to all inputs the D37 harness on the main unit connects to? In other words can I connect the second unit to the first and mirror it rather than to the sensors?

There is no slave harness. You will need a new DB37 with all the same connections as your other screen. Otherwise, you will not have redundancy should the first screen stop working.

The install manual has all the details.

Ditto what Ray says. There isn't a slave mode. Each display requires serial ports, audio wires, and other inputs/outputs to be paralleled, and each diaplsy requires a SkyView Network connection to the other devices (because of the nature of the network, this really only means a single SkyView Network connection to anywhere).

Thanks for the info. Too bad. I do understand the need for separate wires for redundancy, but the ability to mirror would greatly simplify giving my right seat a better view of the instruments.
