Dynon HDX "Direct To" procedure

I am new to flying and the Dynon HDX glass panel. I have tried using the "Direct To" feature on the panel but it doesn't seem to load up. What am I doing wrong? I have search and have not found any instruction. Jim

Not really enough information in your post.

This only works when the “navigation source” is the Skyview internal flight plan.

According to the manual, you select a point through the various options (info, nrst, etc.) THEN press “direct” to get it to navigate there.

This only works on the “Skyview” flight plan. If you are using a navigator (GNS, GTN, IFD…) you have to do it on the navigator, you cannot modify the navigation on an external navigator from the Skyview.

The way I use it:
Select NRST, then pick an airport identifier
Push the DirectTo button.

Thank you for your help! I will be going to the plane ( a 172E that I restored) tomorrow morning and I'll check it out!
