E/P-Mag Timing Data on Dynon EMS products

Has anyone ever thought about suggesting Dynon and E-mag work together to allow the EMS product line to display timing data on the EMS screen, and include it in the HP calculations?

It would also be wonderful data for the black box records.

Just thinking out loud here.

Great idea for the Suggestion sub-forum. Having to install a separate $600 box to see what's going on within the P-Mags.

Last year we spoke with Dynon's management about creating a module of our EICommander to feed P-mag information to the SkyView systems.  (Timing divergence, current firing angle, coil pack data, and to customize the configuration when the engine isn't running.)

Unfortunately, it didn't go beyond a some brief discussions.

However, if Dynon's customer base is interested and can get Dynon's attention, we are more than willing to talk with them.

(PS. The new EIC32 does do data recording of all the P-mag's parameters.)
