Is there a way to download and then interpret engine data from Skyview. Need the last couple of flight hours to investigate engine problem

All of the ems information is available for download via a usb. The data is formatted in simple csv that is compatible with excel. System, download user data logs.

Sign up for a free account at https://www.savvyanalysis.com/home. Download your EMS data onto a USB drive as @owenssonex suggests. Then upload it to your Savvy account. You'll be able to analyse any of the following data over time, change, etc.

You can also have a specialist look at your data based on some subscription price, too.

Thanks For the quick response. I finally found the info in the install manual appendix. Probably should be included in the user manual.

I have been downloading my flight data for submission to Savvy Analysis for years...routinely, but not religiously. The last couple of downloads did not completely download...there are usually 4 parts to each UserLog, and Part 4 failed to download for the last two attempts. Has anyone else had similar issues that might be able to point me in the right direction for a resolution? I installed the latest SkyView software package with no improvement.
Thanks.

I haven't had that issue but also do not religiously pull the logs for upload to Savvy. You might try clearing the logs so it can start a fresh set.

When you say download, do you mean the UserLog file failed to download from the Skyview to the USB stick?

And correct me if I'm wrong, but there are usually THREE files (at least on SV Touch): xxxx-USER_LOG_DATA, xxxx-BLACK_BOX_LOG_DATA, and xxxx-ALERT_DATA. Not four.

Off airport landing when Sonex alternator failed. SV engine data 122 mb so too big for Savvy download. I do not have Excell. Is there an alternative way to analyze engine data?

I use LibreOffice instead of Microsoft. That does not answer your question about how to analyze it, but you can at least read it.

If you ask Savvy, they might help you break the important data out, so it can be uploaded. Try uploading to a site like Google Docs and sharing the link.

Tom,
You downloaded the diagnostic file, not the user data logs. The user data logs can be uploaded to Savvy just fine.

Thanks, Don. Found out the .csv data files easily work within my MacBook Numbers ap. Anyone with Apple computers may find this helpful.
