How fuel pressure sensor work.i mean internal construction

Sorry, not an electronics person so my response is speculation:

I assume, these days, a pressure sensitive (load?) cell. In past would have been a diaphragm or Bowden tube style devise.

One thing I have picked up, from other Forums, is that these devices are prone to erratic/erroneous reading, when in direct contact with the fuel.

The advice is to mount the sensor high, so that it is reading air/gas pressure rather than raw fuel AND so that the connecting tube has a chance to drain between engine starts.

I have found the above advice works for my installation.

So Rhino - it seems, from your reference, we are still using the Bouden tubes or similar - no solid state load cells as yet (assuming your reference is up to date).

Is there some good reason you could not have told Akash408 that there has been little progress, in aircraft pressure sensors, in the last 176 years or so, since the Bouden tube system was invented?

In my very short time on this Forum, I have found, with only one or two exceptions, the respondents to be, in general, curt.
Unfortunatly you are not one of the exceptions.
You may benefit from jumping of your high horse, standing back and & have a think about your demeanor.

I find it interesting that you consider it "impolite" for others not to answer the question, regardless of whether or not they have a correct answer - but you have no trouble at all jumping up and down waving your hands and proclaiming that you don't know anything about the subject but are happy to speculate about it.

What does your therapist think of this?

So!I try to help and preface my suggestion's with the word "speculation" as an indication of how the advise/musing have been generated - what do - fire verbal barbs and or say nothing - what a gentleman you are.
