Is it acceptable to take a feed off of the dynon GPS unit and send it to my garmin 255 nav/comm unit for its info source?

Many thanks Frank

This is in the Dynon Skyview manual, page 29-20.

Improved: GPS location now sent to GNC 255 and GTR 225 radios to enable their ability to look up aviation features from their self-contained databases.

Page 4-22 details how to do it.

So am still looking to connect my GNC255 to my Skyview but have an issue. Page 4-22 says connect the radio's serial RX and TX to the skyviews RX TX outputs HOWEVER on the garmin D-sub connectors there is no mention of RX TX contacts? only rs232 contacts, so my question is how do you connect the GNC255 to the sky view display so they transmit information to one another?

Many thanks Frank

Page 5-1 of the GTR install manual lists the RS-232 pins. They call TX "OUT" though, and RX "IN".

Page 6-3 of the GTR manual covers the software configuration you need to do.
