From the manual ... "To minimize the possibility of audio “humming”, a 16 AWG wire may optionally be connected between the ground point for the intercom/audio panel/radio(s) and SkyView display case(s)."... which ground point does this refer to on the intercom/audio panel/radio? :-?

All audio grounds and shielding is typically grounded to the same point. For instance, in my RV-7A, I used a grounding strip for all audio related grounds that is then grounded to the forest of tabs at the firewall where the battery is grounded.

I could, optionally, add a ground from the Skyview case to the grounding strip, if humming was occurring in my headset.
