GRT CS-01 Installation (Number of Loops?)

I am installing the GRT CS-01 in my Skyview system and I have a couple of questions:

1) How many times do I need to loop the wire (8 AWG) going from the alternator to the load buss?
2) I will be connecting the BLUE wire of the GRT CS-01 to the EMS D37 pin 18 (+5V). Is that correct?
3) Any other items that I need to consider for installation?

No loops. The wire just goes through the coil - that's it.

You are correct in that the CS-01 gets connected to the EMS D37 pin 18 (+5V). I just don't remember the wire colors.

FWIW, I use the CS-02 to monitor the load since it handles up to 50A and my airplane consumes much less than that. YMMV

One last thing is to make sure you select the correct file (CS01 / CS02) when you configure your system. Depending on your installation, you may have to calibrate the configuration with an offset to have an accurate amps display.
