How long does it take for the Skyview system to completely initialize after you added power? Just curious for the times you go out to the hanger and just want to check how much fuel is on board

Thanks

About 30 seconds. If you have the backup battery, you can just press button #1 to turn it on, you don't have to use the master.

Thanks!!!

That is really a fast spool up. Way to go Dynon!!!

Of course my system has capacitance probes so they need a source of 12 VDC power so starting up the Dynon with only the #1 button will get the SV system up and humming however the fuel sensing will not begin until ships power is available to the fuel sensors.

THANKS for the information!!!

You bring up another question in my mind. I have my probes powered via the EMS pin 15. Will the aforementioned method of booting with the backup battery also power the capacitance senders?

Yes. If SkyView's operating, all of the power sources that the EMS module provides will be active too.
