Upon firing up my panel for the first time I found I have a noise issue to resolve.

I have an ipod wired to the music inputs of the SV-INTERCOM-2S.  It works perfectly when not charging, but emits a "squeal" type noise in the headphones when the charger is connected.

I have tried:

Both cheap and expensive (Stienair) USB power ports.

The 120 v charger that came with the Ipod, and I get 60 hz noise with that.

A different ipod.

Removing the ipod from the panel, and distance does not have an effect.

Connecting the ipod to the front panel jack on the intercom, and that seems to work.  I went through a lot of pain to keep all the wires behind the panel and have muting inputs, so my first desire would be to get the rear inputs working.
Any thoughts?

My response won't be much help but I feed music into the front intercom jack from my iPhone, which also charges from a Steinair USB charge port. No issues with noise.

Sounds like your issue is related to the wiring into the back of the intercom. Are you using shielded wire?

N456TS - The ground loop isolator was the answer!!

I had actually ordered the exact unit you linked to and was able to try it out last night.  Resulted in perfect audio.
