I just uploaded the latest software and i lost all my setups for the engine. Had to redue all my limits and layouts. Is there a way to save your current setup in case this happens again.
Thanks George

In a word - No. Backups are a universal process for anything. - No/yes ??About to do that update myself. Is this a widespread problem for other folks as well ?

I would say it's in the middle somewhere. It's not widespread, but it is fairly common for people that don't do backups, especially on updates and upgrades. Just make backups a standard practice, and you should be good.In a word - No. Backups are a universal process for anything. - No/yes ??![]()
But that’s the point - you just got frustratedSure back-ups are always a good idea. Just trying to avoid the frustration of making the back-up, installing the update, removing the update, re-installing the back-up if then update is known to be a problem.
This happened to me, a while back. Then I discovered that the update process had helpfully left a copy of all the configs on the USB stick.I just uploaded the latest software and i lost all my setups for the engine.
