CHT probes never attach to primer or injector ports, so these are orthogonal questions. Pull MP from one of the ports mentioned, or from a port you put in your intake ducting above the carb/FI servo.
Generally, Lycomings will have a CHT threaded well on the bottom of the cylinder into which you can screw the Dynon bayonet mount for the CHT probe. If you don't have a CHT port, you can use spark plug washer senders.
