I have the installation manual revision AD in print, black and white, and refer to it fairly often. I have AF on the computer.
1. Is there any way to print only the change pages for AE and AF so as to update my printed manual?
2. I pay a local print shop to print in black and white because it's quite a bit cheaper than printing in color. What is your personal experience as to the value of printing in color versus black and white - is color worth much more money?

Agreed re paper copy over digital however colour versus black & white ? That’s a question for social media, not for a forum where people may need real help sorting out real issues.:)

Print it in color. The diagrams and images show what it looks like so when you see it on the panel it’s easier to see the comparison. Black and white- you may lose that perspective.
consider getting a iPad or Samsung and load the manual there. In my case I have a EFB and the manuals for all the avionics, including the operators manual, pictures of registrations, airworthiness, etc.. when I update the operators handbook I have it electronically so I can search for it..
in the end, paper is good but far easier to search for something on a iPad than going through pages.
it’s my opinion as an option of course, but if I was going to print it would be in color.
btw- page numbers change with updates As does what’s pushed off one page to the next so you’ll have duplicates that may not line up correctly trying to print only updated pages.

Dynon provides a copy of the manual that shows changed pages. In the military, they provided only the changed pages so we could replace the affected page in the manual and avoid issuing the entire manual in print for many thousands of users. I enjoyed putting the changes in the manuals (as an inspector) so I knew what changed and could ensure maintenance, going forward, was correct.

I generally use the digital version but like being able to write notes in the EMS section for how a particular airplane is wired.

Thanks for the comments. I use both digital and paper, and generally prefer digital for searches and paper for studying an item in detail. I was wondering if the color was sufficiently useful to make it worthwhile and appreciate the observations.

Apparently change filler pages are not available. I remember spending considerable time in the 60's and 70's updating military manuals. It was especially a nuisance to update two or three changes at a time when they had not been posted properly earlier.
