I have 3 HDX displays in my panel, two 10" and one 7", and I tried to configure Reversion mode, such that if one of the 10" goes out, it will revert to the other 10". From what I can tell, it will not do so unless I turn the 7" off. Is there some configuration that I need to do in this situation?

There is an elusive bug in the Skyview system that results in a black screen. Speculation is that it is associated with screen swaps and Reversion mode. Dynon recommends that you disable Reversion mode when using multiple monitors. Related post: https://forum.flydynon.com/threads/hdx-newbie-screwup.14844/#post-86844

I don't think it was intended to work that way.
From the Ops Manual:
"If reversion mode is enabled and active (other display(s) offline), the following display layout settings to be displayed can be selected in Setup. This behavior applies equally whether all but one display in your system has failed, or if you turn on one SkyView display before all others (as some customers do to see engine instruments before engine start):"
Based on above description you should be able to configure "reversion mode" display functions for each screen. My interpretation of the above is that Reversion Mode will only become active on a three display system iff two of the displays are offline. Note the call out to "(other display(s) offline)"
