Hello

I have a SV-D1000 Classic installed in my ULM. I have a transponder Microair T2000 SFL without encoder. I would like to use some of the serial ports of SV to give the altitude information to the transponder and it run in C mode. I have looked for in the System Instalatión Guide but I did not find the set up (configuration) of the serial port to run like encoder.
Could you help me?

Thanks

Luis

Luis,

See page 11-16 (rev AD) of the installation manual. The settings are for the Trig transponder but may work with yours as well.

The SV-XPNDR-261 (Class 1, FAA 2020 ADS-B OUT) is the Trig Avionics TT22 Mode S Transponder.

The SV-XPNDR-262 (Class 2) is the Trig Avionics TT21 Mode S Transponder.

My transponder is only mode C not mode S. Will It work with the encoder serial port especifications of mode S transponder?

Thanks

Luis,

That would be a question for the MFG of your transponder. Below is a link to their installation manual. There is mention of connecting to a Dynon D10A. You will need to give them a call, if that information does not work for you.
