I am planning an IFR upgrade to my VFR RV-7 aircraft. I plan on going with the HDX panels with ADSB/weather,... I currently fly with ForeFlight and Stratus providing me with in-cockpit weather, traffic, terrain and D10A EFIS and D10 EMS. I understand that, with the wifi adapter for SkyView, I can load flight plans from ForeFlight to Skyview. I still plan on having my iPad available for yet another display for weather. My question is, will SkyView provide my iPad ForeFlight app with weather and traffic or will I still need my Stratus for these inputs?

You'll also find the FF traffic alerts (distance, direction) more helpful than Dynon's simple "Traffic" alert, assuming you connect your headset to your iPad via BT.

Great. I have a second generation Status that has served me well over the years but didn't think I needed it going to a SkyView system. I do plan on getting ADSB with SkyView, and well as a new BT headset.

Are you able to turn off Dynon giving audible traffic alerts, or do you have both Dynon and ForeFlight screaming at you?

All the EFIS does is say "Traffic." Foreflight gives the direction and distance, which is far more helpful. I wouldn't consider either as "screaming" at me and I don't recall hearing both at the same time.
