Hi folks,

Below you will see a screenshot of a french Dynon installation, probably Rotax.
As far as Units are concerned, it seems that the consensus is that pressure/temperature/volume is done in metric with the exception of Manifold Pressure which stays in inches Hg (inHg). Is this a true assumption outside the USA??

My second question is the Airbox/Coolant gauges. Dynon leaves it open as far as their thermocouples which values they transmit via Wifi UDP.
When I read the Installation guide (Chapter 26-2, Wifi UDP transmission of EMS parameters) there is not a mention of the Airbox/Coolant, however it's probably mapped to the CHT thermocouples.
Is there a consensus which ones??? Also in the screenshot there are 2 EGT bars, is this common in the Rotax configuration?
Any input is appreciated.
Now you might wonder why am I asking this, well stay tuned -- you'll be positively surprised, something you guys have been asking for.

Cheers,
Peter

The Rotax has two EGT sensors. At least, the ones I'm familiar with. Just one coolant sensor? I'm used to seeing two. (Actually, on mine, I added a coolant sensor and kept two cylinder head sensors.) Fair amount of redundancy (fuel, time, tach, etc.) I see althitude is in feet. It looks like VAS might be, also, although I won't stipulate that.

My question is which thermocouples inputs did you use? There are 14 Thermocouples (Thermocouple 1 -14) And are your choices random or is it being standardized.
As far as Altitude and VSI, yes the world uses Feet instead of Meters with the exception of China, they're all in on the SI Units!
