I have Tosten Grips for Pilot and Copilot.  There are various functions on the grips including a 4-way trim switch, PTT, Frequency Flip-Flop, Flaps Up/Down and AP Disconnect.  However, there is only one common ground wire for each grip.  According to the SV-Intercom-2S Installation Manual, when wiring the PTT on the grip switch, the ground should be wired to Pin-2 on the SV Intercom-2S with the other side of the PTT switches wired to SV-Intercom-2S Pins 10 (Pilot) and 16 (Copilot).  My question is this; with only one ground wire for all stick functions is it OK to wire this to SV-Intercom-2S Pin 2?

It is okay to run the wire to any good ground. I typically run the PTT ground to the mic jack ground, depending on which is easier.

This ground for all the other functions simply trigger a relay to do something, so it won't interfere with commo.
