Usefulness of KNOB and PANEL?

Walt - make sure all Dynon devices are connected & powered on including a/ pilot.
go into SV setup menu (buttons 7 & 8) then SETUP MENU>SYSTEM SETUP>SKYVIEW NETWORK SETUP>CONFIGURE.
Just follow screen directions 😉

RTM! According to the Installation Manual (a free download from Dynon) its a pass-through device and can be "daisy-chained." Take the D9 cable out of the socket on the Skyview, plug it into the Knob panel. Get the 18 inch cable that Dynon sells, plug it into the Knob panel and the Skyview. Do a System Config to recognize the Knob Panel. Done!

Actually no splitter is required. There are 2 Skyview network connections on each unit, just jumper from one to another. So disconnect one cable from the display and plug into one of the panels, jumper from one panel to the other, then back to the display.
