Dynon,

In anticipation of the release of the Xponder and ARINC-429 next week :) .......

Tried to look for this, sorry if you answered it somewhere else  :-(

Xponder
Will it be wired (other than antenna, ground, power) just using using the Network cables?  If so, I assume a Network splitter would be required.

ARINC-429

I am assuming a D-sub connector with the wires directly from the avionics would go to one connector, and the outgoing would also go through a splitter to the network?

When are you accepting orders?  I took next week off just to fly (get use to my newly completed Skyview upgrades for long cross country flights).

Thanks  Tim

Search for New SkyView Products at Oshkosh. There is a post about fifth from the end that has a pinout diagram link. This is what I am using for wiring the SV-ARINC-429 module.

My assumption is that the other connection "out" is to the network - make sense? Tim

No, the out pins are for transmitting to the attached devices. On the other side of the module, there is a network port that SkyView uses to communicate to the ARINC devices, as I understand it.

Note that we now have the full 2.6 manuals live at http://www.dynonavionics.com/docs/support_documentation.html (the web page is incorrectly showing the July revision date right this second, but the links are the new manuals)
