Just found my post from that time, it seems Dynon had 2 different once one working with Win10 one not. correct serial dongle for D series serial port and win10

My experience is, that WIndows 10 does not support all serial dongles correctly anymore (chipset), I had to buy a new dongle with windows 10 in order to use it correctly. Need to dig into my history to find the one I'm using.

So I did ask Support to clarify, here what I got back: S you can send frequencies over to an SL-30 protocol aware Radio, but only into the STandby buffer (which is ok for me) but then swap with the control head of the radio. Which at the end is then that Dynon did not implement the full set...

I'm currently deciding on my Panel for the RV-10 and wonder if there is a list out, what SV-HDX Interface can do with an SV-Com (aparrently via the bus) versus via serial port to non SV Coms? Thanks for your help and experience!! Werner

Dynon support any help on that? Looking as well on how many entries max can be held in the EMS 10 (right now 10 sec intervall) would like to have shorter sampling time (5 or 2 sec)

I'm looking to check a flights carb temp but going through all the columns in the EMS (10) file I can not find any sensor which is telling me it's the carb temperature. Any help what the header for that sensor is? Thanks a lot Werner

Thanks, I did that (with the device Manager) under WIN 7 it Shows now correctly installed however the communication does still not work with the D series :( Question, when you are using that USB2Serial are you using it on COM1/2 or above? Can you test if that works as well with COM3/4 on a WIN7...
